Bryce is MTC Bound

So Holly bids farewell to Bryce as he departs to the MTC on March 4th. She has her countdown calendar and I "heart" my missionary pillow case and a shrine of Bryce on her wall...something Heather did when Trevor left for India a million years ago. She is pretty weepy right now but I'm sure she'll eventually start living again! This beautiful picture was taken the day before he left. His sister Lora arranged to have pictures taken of them for his birthday present. Holly & Bryce have dated for about as long as he will be gone to Mexico. Holly will keep herself busy with dance, school and preparing to leave in August for college. Good luck to both of them!

Jump In To the New Year!

Okay, so I've been a major slacker on Blogging. Blogging to me sometimes is a necessary evil. It's a love hate relationship. So here I go, catching up on the events of the past couple of months. I will just sum up, if you want more details, I suggest you visit my super blogger daughters blogspots and they usually have more of my life on their blogs than I do.

DISNEYLAND!!!! SISTERLAND!!!! This is truly the happiest place on earth. So I decided that I didn't want anyone to do anything for my 50th birthday so as a safety measure I planned to leave 2 days before the dreaded date and return 2 days after to secure that fact that my family would leave me alone and not do the dreaded surprise party. LIARS! All of them.....they gave me a surprise party on New Years Day with friends and family from far and wide. It was really awesome despite my rebellion. See more party stuff below....well anyway, my incredible sister and I ended up at Disneyland to indulge my Peter Pan Syndrome and we had one of the funnest times, EVER! We spend 4 days at the Park and stayed at the Paradise Pier (one of the Disneyland resort hotels) it was so fun to be with her there. She and I are so similar that it is retarded.
